My Clubs
I ended up doing a fitting at PXG for new irons and replaced my 15 year old Nike VR Pro Cavity backs. The biggest changes were lofts, the switch to regular shafts and swapping the lowest iron that I could barely hit with a 5 wood.

My Gear
Given the lack of clubs, I’m lugging these around in a Jones Players Series #001. I also picked up a Sunday Golf Loma S-Class.
Ball wise, I’ve been playing Srixon Softfeels or Callaway Supersofts for the last couple of years as I’m a terrible golfer. Now that I’ve played through my last sleeve of those and I’m actively trying to get better, I’ll be giving the PXG Xtreme Tour‘s a try (I’m loving these a few rounds in).
Infinity Golf gloves are second to none in terms of quality and durability. It helps the price can’t be beat either. Infinity Golf and Kirkland will be my only two choices moving forward.
Last and probably the most important pieces to my bag is my Bethpage Black ball marker (lost on the course), Seamus Golf pitch tool for greens I’ll miss, and Blue Tees Series 3 Max+ rangefinder for locking in on yardages I won’t hit.
My Training Setup
I recently moved to a place where the golf season never ends and a garage big enough for a hitting net. I picked up a Spornia SPG-7 net, random golf mat off Amazon, and a Skytrak OG launch monitor with the Core membership. For my putting practice, I have a 9′ Skytrak mat that’s infinitely better than the PuttOut Slim mat I had previously.
